Description:
This is the official Elbuntu Usplash. To install it, execut these commands:
sudo rm /usr/lib/usplash/usplash-artwork.so
sudo ln -s /way/to/your/usplash/usplash.so /usr/lib/usplash/usplash-artwork.so
sudo dpkg-reconfigure linux-image-`uname -r`

It seams that the usplash works only when it is in your /home directory, and doesn't work in an other partition.
